Easy Reader: Dyslexia-Friendly Read-Aloud Tool + 6 Free Printables

Make reading easier and more comfortable! Easy Reader is a simple browser tool: paste any text (a story, homework, an article) and it reads it aloud, highlighting each word as it goes. Tap any word to start from there. Adjust the font (Lexend, Atkinson Hyperlegible, Verdana and more), text size, letter, word and line spacing, line length, reading speed, 8 color backgrounds including high contrast, and a reading ruler that dims the rest of the page. Everything stays on your device. Works in Chrome, Edge and Safari. Bonus: 6 free printables (Literacy Worksheets, Dragon Learning Pack, Dragon Coloring, Big Dragon Coloring, My Community & Map Skills, Plants & Life Cycles samplers). Note: this tool supports comfortable reading; it does not diagnose or treat dyslexia.

How to open: These are offline learning tools inside a ZIP file. Unzip (extract) it, then double-click the .html file to open it in any web browser (Chrome, Edge, Safari or Firefox). No internet, logins or installs needed, and nothing is sent anywhere. A step-by-step How-to-Open.pdf is included. Works on Windows, Mac and Chromebook; on iPad, open it from the Files app.

This is a learning and practice aid. It is not therapy, treatment, or a medical or diagnostic tool, and does not replace support from a teacher, therapist, or doctor.
