Lottery Miner: a real Bitcoin miner, honestly labeled
A real, working Bitcoin miner written in plain Python. It connects to a real solo-mining pool, receives real block templates, and does real proof-of-work. If it ever finds a block, the pool pays the reward straight to your own Bitcoin address. It comes with a cute animated miner widget for your stream and a live dashboard that shows your real odds.
Please read before buying: this will almost certainly never pay out. A home computer running Python is billions of times slower than professional mining machines, and the odds of finding a block are far smaller than a real lottery ticket. Electricity costs more than the expected value. This is not an investment or an income source. You're buying a fun, transparent, real miner to learn from, run for fun, and show on stream.
What you get:
- lottery_miner.py: the miner, readable and editable, no hidden code
- START-MINER.bat: double-click to start on Windows
- README with setup, OBS widget steps, and FAQ
- Animated stream widget with 4 themes: gold, frog, ice, candy
- Live dashboard: hashrate, hashes tried, "best luck", and your real odds
- Uses multiple CPU cores, has a light mode for laptops, and automatically switches pools if one is down
Good to know:
- Works on Windows, Mac and Linux with Python 3.8+
- Needs your own Bitcoin address (any wallet or exchange deposit address works)
- Runs only on computers you own.
- Digital download. Provided as-is, with no promise of earnings.
Real network. Real work. Real odds, shown honestly.
